02 — Insurance

Liability Insurance.

The Mount requires events hosted by a third party to provide proof of liability insurance along with an endorsement letter. If you have your own insurance, the University must be named as an additional insured and an endorsement letter must be included.

03 — Pool & fitness

Pool and Fitness Center Waiver.

Because of the liability of the pools and fitness centers, take the following steps to obtain usage permission.

01

Notify Sports and Wellness

Contact the Director of Sports and Wellness (Chalon) or Lindsay Connors, Assistant Director of Sports and Wellness (Doheny), at [email protected] or 213.477.2674.

02

Lifeguard

Bringing non-Mount guests to the pool means hiring a lifeguard. Email the lifeguard certificate to the Director of Sports and Wellness (Chalon) or Lindsay Connors (Doheny).

03

Guest waiver

Every non-Mount guest signs the waiver — a parent or guardian signs for anyone under 18. Email all waivers to Fitness Center staff before your group arrives.

04

Professional staff

Events outside normal operating hours require a Fitness Center staff member on site for the requested usage time.
